Israeli Air Force assassinated on Tuesday evening a fighter of the Al Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad west of Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, the Maan News agency reported.The slain fighter was identified as Rammah Fayiz Al-Housni, 28, from the Ash-Shaty’ refugee camp, Al-Quds Brigades’ spokesman, Abu Ahamd, told Maan.
“The assassination is a clear breach of the Israeli-Palestinian mediated truce” he added,” the Israeli Occupation is opting to provoke the Palestinian resistance, and is trying to drag the region into escalation”.
Palestinian medical sources reported that the body of the fighter was severely mutilated due to the blast, and was moved to the Al-Aqsa Hospital.
The Israeli army denied any relation to the attack, and stated that the Air Force did not carry out any strike targeting Gaza Wednesday.
On Tuesday evening, a fighter of the Salah Ed-Deen Brigades, the armed wing of the Popular Resistance Committees, was assassinated by the Israeli Air Force, while a man and his two children were injured, in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. The slain Fighter was identified as Khaled Abu Sahmoud.
