Welcome to Palestine Today, a service of the International Middle East Media Center, www.imemc.org, for Tuesday, May 24, 2016.

Health conditions of two hunger striking political detainees deteriorates, meanwhile Israeli soldiers kidnap a dozen civilians from the West Bank. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.

Dozens of Palestinians from occupied Jerusalem participated, after midnight, in the burial ceremonies of two Palestinians, including a child, who were killed by the Israeli army seven months ago, and Israel held their bodies since then.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan (Silwanic) in occupied Jerusalem, said the soldiers transferred the bodies of Hasan Manasra, 15, and Ala’ Abu Jamal, 32, who were killed by Israeli army fire on October of 2015. Israel is still holding the bodies of six slain Palestinians killed by the Israeli army.

Elsewhere Israeli soldiers, and personnel of the Jerusalem City Council, invaded earlier on Tuesday the al-‘Isawiyya town, in the center of occupied Jerusalem, and demolished several strictures. The soldiers also invaded Silwan town, and demolished a storage room.

Also on Tuesday, Israeli soldiers kidnapped eleven Palestinians, including children, after invading their homes and searching them, in several parts of the occupied West Bank.

In the meantime, The Palestinian Political Detainees Committee has reported that the health conditions of detainees Fuad ‘Aassi and Adeeb Mafarja, in the Israel Barzelai hospital, continues to deteriorate following 51 consecutive days of hunger strike protesting their illegal Administrative Detention.

In a press release Tuesday, the Committee said that the Israeli army Prison Authority was placing obstacles obstructing their lawyers from visiting with them.
