The Israeli police arrested two Israeli youth on Sunday morning suspected of involvement in an attempt to blow up gas canisters in Rehovot on Friday.
The two extremists were taken to Ramle Magistrate Court fro a remand hearing; the Israeli police are dealing with the incident as an attempted terrorist attack.
Firefighter managed to prevent a large explosion Friday morning after extinguishing the gas canisters which were set ablaze out side an eight-story residential building.
Also, the two settlers are suspected of spraying graffiti against the Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, and against Meretz member of Knesset Yossi Sarid, in addition to writing slogans against disengagement on the wall of the building.
The two are also suspected of spraying slurs against Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, Meretz MK Yossi Sarid and the disengagement on the walls of the building.

An Israeli police source reported on Friday that the police averted a disaster in Rehovot, south of Tel Aviv, after a pullout foe torched gas depot close to a residential building.
Pullout foes also wrote slogans against Sharon in Rehovot, calling him a murderer, and vowed that the gas depot is only the beginning.
An Israeli police source reported that fire fighters stopped a disaster and prevented what would have been a huge explosion since flammable materials were also found on the ground under the Gas depot.Ã‚Â
Shimon Gamliel, Rehovot Fire Department Commander, said that a call came in around 3 a.m reporting a small fire in the area, Ã¢â‚¬Å“but after the firefighters arrived the discovered the gas depot and the flammable materialsÃ¢â‚¬Â.
Ã¢â‚¬Å“The gas was leaking from the open valvesÃ¢â‚¬Â, Gamliel said, Ã¢â‚¬Å“fire began spreading, fortunately it is an underground gas depot, and its valves are above the groundÃ¢â‚¬Â.
Yifrach Duvdevani, Israeli police commander said that Initial police reports revealed that this attack was intended to cause human loses.
Ã¢â‚¬Å“We must conduct extensive efforts in order to arrest this madmanÃ¢â‚¬Â, Duvdevani said, Ã¢â‚¬Å“we view this incident as a terrorist attack, taking in consideration that a residential building is only 30 meters away from the gas depotÃ¢â‚¬Â.
