One Palestinian young woman was killed and six men injured in renewed
clashes between Palestinian factions in Jabalia refugee camp in
the northern Gaza strip on Wednesday afternoon, Palestinian sources reported.

Eyewitnesses reported that a gunfight erupted in the refugee camp between the executive force of the Palestinian ministry of interior  and members of the Palestinian Preventative Security forces.

Medical sources said that Mona Salha, 22, was hit by a live round in the head, and was moved to Kamal Adwan hospital were she was pronounced dead shortly after.

According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), the gunfight started when officers from the executive force stopped the car of Mohamed Ghareb, a high ranking officer in the Palestinian Preventative security forces, two of his body guards were forced into a car and were kidnapped while his car was sat on fire.  The source added that other members of the executive force who were guarding the house of Parliament member, Ismael Al-Ashqar also were involved in the kidnapping.

Clashes erupted later near the houses of Col. Ghareb.  Six were injured, three from each group.

These clashes broke the cease fire deal reached between the two groups few days ago.  Meanwhile, Palestinian official sources reported that the Palestinian Prime Minister Ismael Haniyeh, accepted an invitation by King Abdullah II of Jordan to meet with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Amman in bid to ease the tension between the two rival parties in Palestine.
