Israeli online daily, Haaretz, reported on Saturday at night, that unknown gunmen abducted a Gaza-born Arab resident of Israel after he visited relatives in the Gaza Strip. Haaretz added that resident, Jihad Zadara, went to the Gaza Strip to visit his first wife, and is believed to have been abducted in Salah Ed Deen Street in Gaza.
So far, the circumstances of the abduction remained unknown, and the police are still investigation whether the abduction is related to family feuds or other reasons.
Haaretz also stated that a similar incident took place six months ago as an Arab man was abducted and his wife was shot and injured near the main crossing between the Gaza Strip and Israel.
The police investigated the incident, and said that it is related to family feuds. The man and his wife were visiting relatives in Beit Lahia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
