The villagers of Al Ma’ssra, near the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem, conducted on Friday their weekly anti wall protest.
Villagers along with international and Israeli supporters marched from the village mosque after the midday prayers and headed towards their lands were Israel is building the wall.
Israeli soldiers and militra police officers stopped the march at the village entrance by creating a human chain. Troops then bushed people back to the village.
The protest ended peacefully after local organizers delivered speeches in both Arabic and English. Al Ma’ssara villagers on Friday marched in solidarity with the Free Gaza ships heading to the Gaza Strip to break the three years long Israeli siege in the costal territory.
