The Israeli military kidnapped on Monday Sajeda al-‘Awawda, 20, a student at the Hebron University, and moved her to an unknown destination.The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) in Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, held the Israeli government fully responsible for the well-being of the detainee.
The Society reported that Sajeda al-‘Awawda is the wife of political detainee Ali Abu Hashem.
Her detained husband demanded her immediate release, as she underwent a C-section surgery two weeks ago, and is still in need of constant medical care.
Sajeda’s brother said that Israeli soldiers allowed her to call her family before placing her under interrogation.
