Egypt mediates a truce between Palestinian groups and Israel as soldiers arrest 55 civilians from the West Bank. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.
Egyptian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Kamel, stated in a press conference with U.S. Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton, in Cairo, that the ceasefire between Israel and the resistance in Gaza started on 9 at night Wednesday. Clinton thanked Egypt’s President Mohammad Morsi for his role.
Palestinian sources said that the ceasefire deal declared by Egypt includes the following main points, Israel will stop all military attacks and assassinations in the Gaza Strip, will not attack Gaza by air, land, or sea. All armed groups in Gaza will stop the firing of shells into Israel, and will stop all border attacks.
Israel will open all crossings and will ease the movement of residents and goods. and will not impose restrictions on the residents. According to Palestinian sources these points will be implemented in 24 hours after the agreement takes effect.
On Thursday rescue teams located the body of Mohammad Al- Dalou, 35, buried under the rubble of his home that was bombarded by the military three days ago. 11 members of Al-Dalou family have been killed in the shelling. The sources added that rescue teams are still searching for girl assumed dead under the rubber of the bombarded home.
Israel fired missiles that directly hit the home of Ad- Dalou family killing eleven and burying others under the rubber of what once was their home.
Elsewhere Israeli soldiers kidnapped, on Thursday at dawn, 55 Palestinians in different parts of the West Bank; soldiers broke into dozens of homes and searched them before kidnapping the residents.
Army invasions were reported in the districts of Nablus, Ramallah, Bethlehem and Hebron.
On Wednesday at night, the army invaded Ithna town, near Hebron, and fired a concussion grenade into a Palestinian security center wounding a Police officer.
