Palestinian medical sources reported that a child was shot and killed, by Israeli army fire, in the al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.The sources said the child, Khalil Mohammad al-‘Anati, 12, was shot by an Israeli live round that penetrated his back, existing from his abdomen area.
He was moved to the al-Ahli Hospital, in Hebron, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Eyewitnesses stated al-‘Anati was standing in front of his family home when the army invaded the area, and clashed with local youths who hurled stones at empty bottles at them.
The soldiers fired rounds of live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets and concussion grenades.
Eyewitnesses said a general strike has been declared in the city, while clashes erupted in different parts of Hebron, and nearby communities.
On Saturday at dawn, a young Palestinian man died of a serious injury suffered Friday, after Israeli soldiers opened fire at local protesters in the city.
At least 25 Palestinians were shot by live round, and dozens suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation.

Also on Friday, a young man was killed by Israeli army fire near the Psagot illegitimate Israeli settlement, near the central West Bank city of Ramallah.
