Israeli forces stormed, on Saturday, the village of Kufur Qaddoum, east of Qalqilia in the northern occupied West Bank and injured several Palestinians who protested the invasion, the Palestinian News & Information Agency (WAFA) reported.

Witnessed said that the soldiers fired rubber-coated steel rounds and tear gas at the local civilians, shooting four young men, and causing other to suffer the toxic effects of tear gas inhalation.

The local Kufur Qaddoum facebook page reports that six young men were injured with rubber-coated steel rounds.

In 2003, the Israeli occupation authorities closed the main road of the town to local Palestinians and granted full access to the illegal colonial settlers.

Every week since then, the citizens of Kufur Qaddoum village and the surrounding areas have rallied to demand the reopening of the main road.

Every Friday and Saturday, the villagers gather to confront the army which storms the town and opens fire at the unarmed youths who throw stones in retaliation.
