On Saturday, a group of illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers cut down more than 100 Palestinian olive trees in the eastern area of Qarawat Bani Hassan town, west of Salfit, in the occupied West Bank’s central part. The colonizers also injured a Palestinian in Kafr Ed-Deek.
Ibrahim ‘Aasi, the head of Qarawat Bani Hassan town council, stated that the colonizers invaded Palestinian orchards in the area and cut at least 100 olive trees, owned by Mohannad Sufian Rayyan.
He added that the attack is part of a series of assaults and violations carried out by the soldiers against the Palestinians, their homes, lands, and property.
In related news, the colonizers assaulted and injured Nasser Faraj Naji from Kafr Ed-Deek town, west of Salfit, while he was working on his land. Medics moved him to the governmental hospital in Salfit city.
The colonizers also tried to flood an agricultural room owned by Ahmad Mohammad Ali in the same area.
Also Saturday, Israeli paramilitary colonizers invaded Marj Si’ meadow, located between Al-Mughayyir and Abu Falah villages, northeast of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank’s central part, and cut dozens of olive saplings.
On Wednesday, a group of Israeli paramilitary colonizers invaded Palestinian lands in Taybeh village, east of Ramallah, and established a new colonial outpost.
In an attack that occurred Tuesday, illegal Israeli colonizers stormed the Armenian Quarter in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, attacking the Armenian Monastery and desecrating Christian holy symbols.
In related news, ten Palestinians were injured on Wednesday evening during a large-scale attack by illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers on the town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank’s central part.
Last Tuesday, illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers invaded a Bedouin community near Jericho, uprooted trees near Ramallah, and attacked Palestinian cars near Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank.
Last Monday at dawn, an illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizer, accompanied by Israeli soldiers, assaulted Palestinian civilians and nonviolent activists in Abu Hammam hamlet, south of Al-Mughayyir village, northeast of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.
A week ago, Saturday, Illegal Israeli colonizers assaulted a Palestinian woman near the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and assaulted others near Ramallah, in the central West Bank.
One day earlier, a pregnant Palestinian woman sustained bruises and lost consciousness after being assaulted by illegal paramilitary colonizers in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern region.
A week ago late Friday night, paramilitary Israeli colonizers assaulted two Palestinian bus drivers in occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank.
In related news, a group of illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers continued the construction of a new colonialist outpost on stolen Palestinian lands in the Al-Mughayyir village, east of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank’s central part.
Israeli soldiers and paramilitary colonizers have escalated their invasions and violations across the occupied West Bank, with dozens of colonizers also attacking Palestinian homes, uprooting lands, burning cars and torching farmlands, while Israeli occupation soldiers uprooted trees.
All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.
Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.
