Israeli occupation forces escalated their aggression on Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank, on Thursday evening, ordering the demolition of 106 homes and buildings within 24 hours.

The military distributed notices marking the targeted structures in red on attached maps, instructing residents to evacuate their homes and remove their belongings before the destruction begins.

Tulkarem Governor Abdullah Kamil stated that Israeli forces plan to demolish 58 buildings in Tulkarem refugee camp and 48 homes in Nur Shams refugee camp, forcing families to remove their possessions within one day.

Kamil condemned the demolitions, calling on international human rights organizations to intervene and halt Israel’s unprecedented aggression against Tulkarem, Nur Shams, and the city itself.

He urged the global community to pressure Israel to stop the ongoing destruction, which has led to mass displacement, severe damage to infrastructure, and the worsening siege. The demolitions have devastated both private and public property, deepening the humanitarian crisis.

Popular committees and civil society groups in Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps called on the international community to uphold its legal and moral obligations, enforce international resolutions against Israel, and put an end to its aggression, forced starvation, and systematic destruction of Palestinian communities.

They also appealed to the UN Security Council, the United Nations, and international human rights organizations to take immediate action to stop Israel’s assault on Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza.

The ongoing destruction and forced displacement in Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps have escalated, with dozens of homes and buildings being demolished, burned, and reduced to rubble.

The latest orders add to the devastation, with Israeli forces now planning to demolish 58 homes in Tulkarem refugee camp and 48 in Nur Shams refugee camp, an act of collective punishment that violates international humanitarian law.

Palestinian communities have called for national unity and collective resistance against Israel’s escalating aggression, urging solidarity to thwart its expansionist policies.

Earlier Thursday, Israeli occupation forces continued their assault on Tulkarem and its refugee camp for the 95th consecutive day, while the invasion of Nur Shams refugee camp has now entered its 82nd day. The military escalation remains ongoing, marked by widespread destruction, forced displacement, and intensified violence.

In related news, Israeli occupation forces continued their onslaught against the city of Jenin and its refugee camp, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part, for the 101st consecutive day, leading to massive destruction, displacement, death and injuries in the ongoing offensive.
