Israeli navy ships attacked, on Wednesday morning, several Palestinian fishing boats near the shore of Gaza city, causing damage.
Eyewitnesses said the navy fired many live rounds at the boats, in addition to attacking them with water-cannons, while they were less than six nautical miles from the shore.
They added that the attack caused damage to at least one boat, and forced the Palestinian fishermen back to the shore without being able to fish and provide for their families.
The attack is part of the numerous Israeli violations targeting fishermen, farmers, shepherds, and workers in the besieged and impoverished Gaza Strip, leading to severe damage, in addition to dozens of casualties, including fatalities.
