On Wednesday, Israeli occupation forces continued their military assault on Tulkarem, in the northwestern part of the occupied West Bank, for the 94th consecutive day. The invasion of Nur Shams Refugee Camp has now stretched into its 81st day, marked by an ongoing escalation in violence, widespread destruction, and mass abductions.

Reports indicate that Israeli military vehicles and infantry units moved actively throughout the city overnight, restricting civilian movement and blocking streets, particularly around Paris Street, “Thabet Thabet Square,” “Jamal Abdul-Nasser Square,” and the central vegetable market. Several young men were abducted and subjected to field interrogations.

Israeli foot patrols also invaded the Thannaba suburb east of the city late at night, increasing their presence near Al-Attar platforms, the Sharia School, and Halima Khrisha School.

The soldiers stopped vehicles, searched them, and inspected passengers’ identification cards while interrogating many Palestinians.

Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli troops stormed a café in the area, conducted searches, and interrogated young men before raiding nearby homes.

Three young men; Amir Assaf, Ayham Moayad Shaaban, and Shadi Shaaban, were abducted after the soldiers assaulted them.

Israeli forces heavily deployed in Jabal Al-Nasr in Nur Shams Refugee Camp, firing illumination rounds as gunfire and explosions echoed throughout the area.

Both Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps remain under a severe siege, with Israeli soldiers firing live rounds and sound bombs, preventing movement in and out of the refugee camps by blocking entrances with dirt mounds.

Concurrently, Israeli troops are conducting house invasions, destroying property, and forcing civilians to flee under threat of violence.

The military continues to push reinforcements into the city and its refugee camps, conducting relentless home invasions, ransacking businesses, and subjecting residents to interrogation and physical abuse.

Israeli forces have also seized residential buildings along Nablus Street and in the adjacent northern district, turning them into military outposts after forcibly evacuating residents. Military vehicles and bulldozers remain stationed in the area, further entrenching the occupation.

The ongoing Israeli offensive in Tulkarem and its refugee camps has resulted in the killing of 13 Palestinians, including a child and two women—one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens more have been wounded or abducted.

Over 4,200 families—totaling more than 25,000 civilians—have been forcibly displaced from both refugee camps. Hundreds of others were expelled from their homes in the northern and eastern areas of the city after Israeli troops seized their residences, converting several into military installations.

The destruction is extensive, with essential infrastructure, homes, businesses, and vehicles targeted.

At least 396 homes have been demolished, while 2,573 others have suffered partial damage. Dirt barriers now block roads and alleyways, further isolating the refugee camps from the surrounding areas.

At dawn on Wednesday, Israeli soldiers abducted five Palestinians from their homes in Anabta and Far’un, two towns located east and south of Tulkarem.

The soldiers also invaded the town of Al-‘Isawiya, in occupied Jerusalem, searched a few homes and abducted two young men.
