On Monday, Israeli soldiers shot two Palestinian journalists with live rounds and chased them with their bulldozers when the army was destroying shops, streets, infrastructure, and private property, in Jenin, in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.

The Palestinian News & Info Agency (WAFA) said the soldiers fired live rounds at journalists, injuring journalist, Shatha Hanaisha and AFP Chief Photographer, Ronaldo, with shrapnel.

WAFA added that the soldiers attempted to ram a group of journalists with an armored military bulldozer while they were documenting the ongoing invasion and the unfolding incidents.

In addition, the army threatened to shoot many journalists if they did not leave the area, to prevent them from documenting the escalating violations.

The soldiers destroyed the Cinema Roundabout in the city center and the streets leading to it, as well as the sidewalks and stalls in front of the shops on Nablus Street, in addition to demolishing shops, as part of the ongoing offensive on Jenin for the sixth consecutive day, and has already led to massive destruction of infrastructure, public, and private property.

The Israeli aggression, since last Wednesday morning, on the West Bank has resulted in the death of 31 citizens, including 18 in Jenin Governorate, 5 in Tulkarem, 4 in Tubas, and 3 in Hebron, raising the death toll in the West Bank since October 7, 2023, to 682.
