Two Palestinian teens from occupied East Jerusalem said that they were severely beaten when they were detained by special Israeli forces, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Commission said, today.

Muhammad Abu Sneineh, 15, and Qais Basiti, 17, told the commission that they were thrown to the ground when they were detained in the plaza of Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, in Jerusalem’s Old City, WAFA reports.

They were also kicked, punched and beaten with rifle butts after they were taken to the Russian Compound police station in West Jerusalem, where they were abused verbally and interrogated several times to force a confession to charges levied against them.
