On Tuesday morning, Israeli soldiers invaded Jenin, and Jenin refugee camp, stormed and ransacked many homes, and abducted five Palestinians.
Media sources said a large military force invaded Jenin before the soldiers abducted Nour Eid Abu Baker, his brother Abed, and Abdullah Ahmad Al-Batal, from the Al-Jabriyyat neighborhood.
The sources added that the soldiers also invaded and ransacked homes in Nablus Street in Jenin and abducted Ahmad Souqi.
During the invasions, the soldiers occupied rooftops of tall buildings and deployed sharpshooters. The army also exchanged fire with Palestinian resistance fighters.
In the Jenin refugee camp, the soldiers invaded the home of Maher Turkman and ransacked the property before abducting his son Ahmad.
The army alleges that Maher, his son, and his nephew participated in a shooting attack in September 2022, targeting a bus transporting Israeli soldiers, and has since been trying to locate and abduct him. His son, Mohammad, 17, died from serious wounds he suffered along with his cousin in the reported incident.
The invasion led to protests before the soldiers fired many live rounds, gas bombs, and concussion grenades, wounding a young man with shrapnel to the leg.
