On Monday dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded and ransacked dozens of homes across the occupied West Bank and abducted at least twelve Palestinians.
In Ramallah, in the central West Bank, the soldiers abducted two former political prisoners, Ahmad Zeid and Rami Fadayel, from their homes in the Tira neighborhood.
The soldiers also abducted a former political prisoner, Najeh ‘Aasi, from his home in the al-Biereh city, near Ramallah.
In Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, the soldiers abducted Amjad, 40, and his brother, Monjid Mahmoud Qureia’, 32, from their homes in the southern area of the city and confiscated car parts they owned.
The soldiers also abducted Mohammad Ali Rajabi from his home in the al-Jalajel neighborhood in the eastern part of Hebron.
The invasions led to protests in the southern area of Hebron city before the soldiers fired gas bombs and concussion grenades, causing many Palestinians to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
The soldiers also installed many roadblocks at Hebron’s northern entrances and the entrances of the as-Samu’, Sa’ir, and Halhoul towns, stopped and searched many cars, and interrogated the Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards.
In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, the soldiers invaded the ‘Ein Beit Al-Ma’ refugee camp, west of the city, searched homes, and abducted Karim Shahin.
In addition, the soldiers killed a young man, Taher Zakarna, 19, in Qabatia town, south of the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
During the invasion, the soldiers ransacked several homes and buildings and abducted a young man, Odai Manasra, from his work at a bakery they stormed and searched.
In Jenin city, the soldiers stormed and searched several homes before abducting four young men, Amin Sa’adi, Nawras Ghawadra, Mohmmad Nasif Ghawadra, and Nidal Saba’na.
