Two Palestinians were killed on Thursday, seven others injured, after an Israeli apache fired a missile at a home in the northern Gaza strip, a Palestinian security source reported.
Eyewitnesses reported that the missile was fired at the home of Khader Rayyan, one of the fighters of the Al Aqsa Brigades, the military wing of Fateh, west of the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
A medical source at Kamal Adwan Hospital reported that Eyad Qdas, 21, and Nihad Al Najjar, 25, were killed, and seven other Palestinians, inducing Khader Rayyan, member of the Al Aqsa Brigades, the military wing of Fateh, were injured.
Abu Tha’er, the spokesperson of the Al Aqsa Brigades, said the group will retaliate fast to the assassination.
Meanwhile, Jebril Rajoub, National Security Advisor of the Palestinian Authority, slammed the latest Israeli military escalation and the assassinations saying that Israel is leading the area into a new cycle of violence, and destruction.
On Wednesday, Israeli soldiers assassinated Mahmoud Al Arqan, one of the leaders of the Popular Resistance Committees, in Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza strip.
