A number of armed extremist Israeli settlers attacked, on Wednesday evening, two Palestinian youths in Einabous village, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus. The army arrived at the scene and kidnapped the two residents.The Maan News Agency reported that the settlers attacked two Palestinians while picking Olives in their own orchard, and added that Israeli soldiers arrived at the scene and kidnapped the two Palestinians instead of removing the settlers who were attacking them.
The two were identified as Eyad Rashdan and Mohammad Allan; they were both cuffed, blindfolded and were taken to an unknown destination.
Local sources reported that the attack, carried out by the settlers, is the latest of numerous escalating attacks targeting the residents and their property.
