Before dawn on Friday, Israeli occupation forces invaded multiple areas across the occupied West Bank, abducting several Palestinians and sealing off key roads and villages.

The incursions targeted cities and towns in the northern, northwestern, central, and northeastern regions of the West Bank, and were accompanied by attacks carried out by illegal paramilitary colonizers.

In Nablus, in the northern West Bank, a special Israeli military unit infiltrated the al-Makhfiyya neighborhood before armored vehicles stormed the area.

Soldiers invaded a home and opened fire inside, injuring 20-year-old Ihab Abu Riyala in the leg before abducting him.

Another young man, Haitham al-Kaabi, was also abducted after soldiers invaded and searched his home. Witnesses reported that Israeli forces smashed a vehicle parked near the house.

Residents were prevented from entering or exiting. The army also blocked the only road connecting Dura al-Qare’ and Ein Yabrud, further isolating the area, especially since the northern entrance to al-Bireh has been closed since October 7, 2023. A military roadblock  was also erected beneath the bridge in Deir Dibwan.
