Israeli soldiers invaded, Friday, the town of Kufur Qaddoum, near the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia, and attacked the weekly protest, causing dozens of residents to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

Morad Eshteiwy, the media coordinator of the Popular Committee in Kufur Qaddoum, said the soldiers fired many rubber-coated steel bullets and gas bombs, causing scores of residents to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

He added that the residents were peacefully marching, demanding the military to open the main road it closed more than 14 years ago, to enable easy access to the colonists driving to and from Kedumim illegal colony, built on private Palestinian lands.

The army invaded Kufur Qaddoum and attacked the protesters, leading to clashes with many youngsters who hurled stones and empty bottles on the military vehicles.
