Five Palestinian injured in 50 Israeli airstrikes targeting Gaza, meanwhile in the West Bank Israeli troops invade communities and detain civilians. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.

The Israeli Air Force carried out, late Sunday night and Monday at dawn , at least fifty military strikes wounding five Palestinians in different parts of the Gaza Strip. Two of the targeted areas in the besieged Gaza Strip are said to be camps runs by the al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas.

The Israeli strikes also targeted the Agricultural College and farmlands in Beit Hanoun, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, in addition to hitting two sites run by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), and the al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad.

The army also fired several artillery shells into open areas, and agricultural lands in different parts of the besieged and impoverished coastal region. On Sunday evening, the army bombarded Beit Hanoun, in the northern part of the coastal region, and the Sudaniyya area, northwest of Gaza.

The Israeli army claimed that it struck Hamas sites in retaliation to a shell was fired earlier from Gaza into an open area in Sderot in the Negev.

Elsewhere, Israeli soldiers invaded, on Monday at dawn, several districts in the occupied West Bank, searched homes and kidnapped eight Palestinians, including six in Hebron.

In the Zawiya village, near northern West Bank city of Salfit, the soldiers invaded the family home of Abdul-Rahman Raddad, who was killed by the Israeli army earlier this past March, searched the property and interrogated the family, before handing them a demolition order against their property.

The soldiers also handed a demolition order against the home of detainee Omar al-‘Abboushi, who was kidnapped on May 30th 2016.

In other news, Israeli media announced on Monday plans by the Israeli government for the construction of new residential units for Jewish settlers in the heart of Hebron city, in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

It remains unclear the number of units and the exact size of the new illegal colony, while the area of the military base where the new settlement will replace is nearly two Dunams of land located in  in area H2 of Hebron, under full Israeli control.
