Israeli soldiers shot and seriously injured, on Friday at night, a young Palestinian man in Silwan town, in the occupied Palestinian capital, Jerusalem.
Media sources said several army jeeps invaded the town, before stopping and harassing many Palestinians while inspecting their ID cards, leading to protests.

They added that the soldiers fired many live rounds, rubber-coated steel bullets, gas bombs, and concussion grenades at the Palestinians and several homes.

Medical sources said a young man was shot with a live round and suffered life-threatening wounds before he was rushed to the al-Makassed Hospital.

The soldiers also invaded the hospital, and searched it looking for the young man, but could not locate him.
