On Thursday, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers vandalized solar panels and water pumps belonging to a Palestinian farmer in Khirbet Al-Deir, located in the Northern Plains of the Jordan Valley in the occupied West Bank. Colonizers also stormed the wilderness of Tuqu’, near Bethlehem, continuing their land seizures and provocations.

Human rights activist Aref Daraghmeh reported that the colonizers destroyed solar energy systems and water pumps owned by Palestinian farmer Abdel Hakim Mahmoud Daraghmeh in Khirbet Al-Deir.

The area has been subjected to repeated attacks for months, with colonizers and Israeli occupation forces systematically targeting solar power systems, water infrastructure, and irrigation networks—critical resources for Palestinian farmers cultivating hundreds of dunams of agricultural land.

Meanwhile, another group of illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers invaded the wilderness of Tuqu’, east of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank’s central part.

Taysir Abu Mofarreh, head of the Tuqu’ Municipality, reported that the colonizers aggressively entered the area, provoking residents and preventing Palestinian shepherds from accessing grazing lands.

Accompanied by Israeli soldiers, the colonizers have seized vast tracts of land in Tuqu’s wilderness since the beginning of Israel’s assault on Gaza. They have installed mobile homes and blocked Palestinian landowners from reaching their properties.

In related news, Israeli soldiers invaded Al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem, especially Al-Bawwaba area, Dar Mousa, Um as-Summan and the Saifi neighborhood, and fired live rounds to force the Palestinians to leave the streets.

The soldiers also invaded the towns of Bani Na’im and Halhoul town, east and norther of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and fired live rounds before closing streets and installing military roadblocks.

Also Thursday, dozens of colonizers stormed Wadi Al-Leimoun area in the village of ‘Aboud, northwest of Ramallah, and installed an outpost on Palestinian land in Turmus Ayya, north of the city,  in the occupied West Bank’s central part.

Furthermore, Israeli colonizers attacked Palestinians and Bedouin communities in Asira Al-Qibliya, a town south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank’s northern part.

On Thursday evening, the Palestinian Health Ministry announced that Israeli forces shot and killed the young man, Alaa Shawkat Ahmad Khdeir, 29, in the town of Beita, south of Nablus.

Last Wednesday night, illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers attacked the property of a Palestinian family near the Hamra military roadblock in the northern Jordan Valley, stealing dozens of the family’s livestock.

All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory”.
