This Friday, villagers from al Ma’ssara along with international and Israeli peace activists, marched toward farmers lands where Israeli is building the wall.

Today, villagers changed the route for their weekly march, ending up at a nearby settler highway. This road is closed for Palestinians on Fridays.

Soldiers then forced people back to the village using rifle butts and batons. Troops also fired tear gas and sound bombs at the protesters, no injuries were reported.

Earlier on Friday, soldiers closed the village of al Ma’ssara in an attempt to stop internationals and Israelis from joining the weekly protest.
